These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and services of Poro – The Pet Store & Spa. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

We provide pet grooming services (at our Wakad store and at customers’ homes within our service areas) and sell pet products in store. Service availability, pricing, and timings may vary and are confirmed at the time of booking.

2. Bookings & appointments

  • Appointments can be booked via our website, phone, or WhatsApp
  • We will confirm your appointment before it is finalised
  • Final pricing depends on your pet’s size, breed, coat condition, and the services chosen, and is confirmed before we begin
  • Please ensure someone over 18 is present for at-home appointments

3. Cancellations & rescheduling

We understand pets are unpredictable. Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may affect future bookings.

4. At-home service requirements

For at-home grooming, we bring our own grooming equipment. We require access to water (a bathroom or bathing area) and a power point for drying and trimming. A safe, suitable space to groom your pet must be available.

5. Your pet’s health & safety

  • Please inform us in advance of any health conditions, allergies, behavioural issues, or aggression
  • We reserve the right to stop or decline a groom if a pet’s behaviour or health makes it unsafe to continue
  • Grooming of matted or neglected coats may require shorter cuts for the pet’s welfare; we will advise you where possible

6. Payments

Payment is due on completion of the service unless agreed otherwise. We accept the payment methods communicated at the time of booking.

7. Liability

We take great care with every pet. However, to the extent permitted by law, Poro – The Pet Store & Spa is not liable for pre-existing conditions aggravated by grooming, or for issues arising from information not disclosed to us. Our total liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

8. Products purchased in store

Products are sold subject to availability. Returns or exchanges are handled in line with applicable consumer protection laws and our in-store policy.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
